The ski and snowboard season will officially come to an end with our annual "Sunshine Slush Cup". This is one of the best spring events in North America which features wild and crazy individuals who brave the jump into the slushy cold water. The goal is to try and make it across the water but very few make it but it is a blast to watch them attempt to do it.

All participants are encouraged to wear costumes as it really impresses the crowds and our panel of judges who will add points to your jump! Prizing will be awarded to the one individual who can make the jump or has the best attempt. There will also be prizes for Awesome Air, Best Bellyflop, Excellent Enema and whatever else may happen that day! There will be a change for entries this year as we want to see more women participating! We have allocated 20 spots just for women and the remaining 40 will be for men.

You don't think you are ready for the Slush Cup challenge just yet? Well that's okay cause we want you to be a part of the event and help cheer on our participants and help the judges select the winners! You will have an awesome time as a spectator. Make sure to get to Sunshine early so you can secure the best seats in the house as they go fast!

Registration for participants will take place at 8:30am outside of Trappers on the other side of the pool. Look for the registration sign and the Sunshine Village Tent. Anyone who is 18 years of age or older can enter and you must have your PHOTO ID. All entries are on a first come first serve basis and you cannot register prior to event day. The event will start around 1:30pm and awards will follow the event.

Rules and Regulations
The Slush Cup is meant to be a fun event for everyone participating and watching. Anyone that chooses not to abide by the following will be escorted off the mountain immediately.
- All participants will be 18 years of age or older and will enter in person. Two pieces of identification must be provided at time of registration which may include a drivers license, birth certificate or passport. Other forms of identification will not be accepted and if you forget your ID you will not be saved a spot in line.
- There is no category for under 18 for safety reasons and sponsorship
- All competitors must complete a waiver and photo release at registration.
- There will be a maximum of 60 entries and no exceptions.
- Absolutely no poles, long skis or other items that may prove to be dangerous while on the course and entering the water. Only regular Skis or Snowboards will be permitted. All equipment will be checked prior to your run. It will be up to the starters to determine if you can proceed down the course.
- No inverts, naked bodies, foul language permitted during the event. Proper clothing must be worn at all times. It will be the discretion of our event staff to remove individuals.
- All assigned event bib numbers must be worn during the event
- After your jump is complete you must exit the finish area immediately so we can continue with the event.
