First time planning a group ski trip? Here are some helpful tips to ensure a smooth and successful day.

  1. Select - a day trip, or overnight at the newly renovated Sunshine Mountain Lodge. Plan at least 3 weeks in advance to ensure plenty of opportunity to customize your day. Ask about further discounted rates on non peak dates.
  2. Contact - the Groups team at Sunshine to help you with the initial planning 1-877-542-2633 ex #4
  3. Extras - Make it a day to remember! Talk to our Groups team for teambuilding ideas, and / or book at any of our 8 restaurants and bars for lunch & après. Ski with the best instructors in the Rockies by taking lessons with the Sunshine Village Ski School.
  4. Transportation - Keep your group together and leave the cars at home, let us arrange a luxury coach bus for you.
  5. Let your company / organization know!! - all posters and emails should include dates, times, prices, group leader contact info, and deadlines.
  6. Forms - contracts, rental & ski school forms should be complete at least 7 days prior to ski day.
  7. Collect payment in advance - Set a deadline when all fees are required. Please set a time frame in advance to avoid delays. Remember, deposit at time of booking, and full payment will be required 14 days prior to ski day.
At the Mountain
  • Break for lunch at non-traditional times like 11:00 and 1:30 to avoid the crowds.
  • Dress in layers to keep warm or cool depending on what the day brings
  • Remember to apply sunscreen and SPF protective lip balm, even on cloudy days
  • Ask about a complimentary guided tour with the Sunshine Snow Hosts
  • Drink lots of water to prevent dehydration, carry a water bottle
  • Grooming reports are available daily at the ticket windows and from our Snow Hosts
  • Our group's team can have rentals "pre-arranged" for all those needing in your group. Arrangements must be noted at time of booking
