Sunshine Village offers housing to approximately 200 employees out of 800. Each department at Sunshine Village is given a certain number of beds to allocate to their employees based on operational needs.
Due to the heavy traffic in our housing each year, rooms are very basic. Residents need to bring bedding, an alarm clock and any other personal items such as music players, posters, towel, etc. Please understand that all housing is dormitory style with 2 or 3 persons to a room. Staff lounges are in each building and are equipped with TVs, DVD players and cable. We also have 25 beds in town at the Banff International Hostel.A damage deposit of $100.00 is deducted from each resident's paycheque upon sign-in to staff accommodation. This amount is returned, if the room is left without any damages or alterations, when the resident signs-out with the Human Resources Department.
Each "On Mountain" Unit includes:
- Cable
- Internet
- Free laundry facilities
- Common area lounge (TV and DVD provided)
- Payphone/house phone
