Would you like to have the experience of a lifetime next season at Sunshine Village?

Working for a ski resort such as Sunshine Village is an amazing opportunity. We hire a variety of nationalities at Sunshine Village and turn them into raving fans of our resort.

We are not yet accepting applications for the 2009/2010 ski season. Please check back in the spring for updated recruiting information and for next season's hiring methods.

For the current
2008/2009 season we held interviews and hiring fairs in the following locations;

* Australia - IEP (International Exchange Program).The hiring fairs for these were held the first two weeks of August in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne
* England - London interviews. Interviews held in September at designated coffee shops

* Canada - BANFF- Ski Hub at 119 Banff
Ave. A Human Resources representative was available
for information, resume collections and departmental interviews in September & October.
* Canada - BANFF - A one day Hiring Clinic held in mid-October at the Banff HI.

Our recruiting methods
will be similar to the above for next season. Applicants must be available to work from end of October/early November through May.

If you are offered a job at Sunshine, you will need to provide us with the following:
- Social Insurance Number
- Criminal Records Check (if Canadian)
- Work Visa and passport
- Proof of Provincial Health Care or Travel Insurance
- Direct Deposit Information (mandatory)

Keys to success for your interview:

Cover letter and resume - Providing us with an updated version of your cover letter and resume will make it easier for our team to set you up with the most appropriate interviews.
Written reference letters - Because we complete reference checks for all successful applicants, it is to your advantage to provide us with written recommendations from previous employers. Otherwise we require a phone number or email address.
Proof of Visa - Please bring with you a photocopy of your work visa to your interview.
Dress to impress - If you make a good impression and look the part, you will increase your chances of securing a position for the season.
