- Early Bird Lift Access! Beginning January 5th, 2008, Sunshine Mountain Lodge guests have exclusive rights to hit the slopes before anyone else. The Standish Quad Chair Express will open at 8:30AM , 30 minutes early, to allow SSML guests access to the snow, before the skiing public can access the lift at 9.00am.
Our Ski & Snowboard School, Ski & Board Rentals, Daycare facilities and over half of Sunshine's lifts are within walking distance of the Lodge's front door. For the extreme skier and rider, Delirium Dive offers an amazing back - country experience - within Sunshine's boundaries. Tips for a great stay
- Have ski gear accessible and enjoy skiing on the day of arrival. Ski lifts operate from 9:00-16:00.
- If going directly to the Lodge upon arrival, have some warm clothes for the gondola ride from the base area to the Village.
- Ask reception about the daily complimentary tour of the trails with one of our snow hosts. This service provides a great introduction to the vast ski area at Sunshine.
